About Us

Linda Wegner, owner of Words of Worth, formally launched the company in 2000 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. What began as a part-time hobby reporting for several weekly newspapers became a full-time business. The farm scene - including the fairly new concept of precision agriculture (the use of GPS and GIS technology in agriculture)- was the main focus of her work. In 2003, after a move to Powell River BC, she welcomed the opportunity to get acquainted with organic farming methods and principles and the pro-active farmers dedicated to sustainable agriculture in this Sunshine Coast community.

Since then the scope of services offered by Words of Worth has expanded as other professionals with skills in various disciplines joined the
WOW team. (These include personnel with expertise in general and First Nations economic development, and business planning, market research and preparation of technical user/operations manuals, procedures and training materials.
